PARADOXES at VUZPROMEXPO

December 13-14, Moscow, the 5th annual national exhibition and forum VUZPROMEXPO under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia took place. The Accreditation in Education journal held the 1st All-Russian Conference Paradoxes of Information Openness within the framework of the exhibition and the 1st All-Russian competition MediaResonance. Traditionally Accreditation in Education acted as the media partner of the event.


"VUZPROMEXPO is a very worthy platform for our active, lively interaction," noted the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Olga Vasilieva, welcoming the participants of the 5th annual national exhibition.

The exhibition has been holding since 2013. During this time hundreds of educational organizations of the country, dozens of engineering centers and industrial enterprises presented their scientific developments on its stands. More than 21 thousand people visited the exposition.

For the first time this year, the management of the exhibition VUZPROMEXPO and the editorial board of the Accreditation in Education journal conducted the All-Russian competition MediaRezonans. The experts evaluated not only the content and design of the universities' stands, but also the preliminary work carried out in preparation for the event (publications on websites, posts in social networks, author's announcements of the presented developments).

The results of the contest are summarized in four nominations. Winners and prize-winners received diplomas and certificates. For the first place in all nominations - a certificate for 30% discount for participation in VUZPROMEXPO-2018, for the second - a free subscription for the Accreditation in Education journal for 2018, for the third - free participation in the course of webinars of the Accreditation in Education publishing house.

For the first time, within the framework of VUZPROMEXPO, the 1st All-Russian Conference Paradoxes of Information Openness for universities’ information services employees was held by the editorial staff of the Accreditation in Education journal.
"Development of the country is impossible without the formation of a unified national strategy for the innovative and informational development of Russian education, ensuring its qualitative breakthrough, and on this foundation a new quality of life for the country," said Oleg Smolin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science, addressing organizers and participants of the conference.
The awarding ceremony for the leaders of the All-Russian project MEDIAactivity of Russian Universities and numerous winners of the All-Russian competition Press Service of the University was held at the conference.
