NORTH-CAUCASUS FEDERAL UNIVERSITY

Rector of North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU): Alina Afakoevna LEVITSKAIA, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Chair of Russian Language in NCFU Institute of Humanities. She holds the title of Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of North Ossetia—Alania and a title of Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation. Ms. Levitskaia was born in 1954 in Vladikavkaz. She graduated with honors from NorthOssetianStateUniversity named after K.L. Khetagurov with a degree in Russian Language and Literature. She started her career at NorthOssetianStateUniversity. Then she was the Head of the Department of Children Upbringing and Socialization in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Professor Levitskaia has been the Rector of NCFU since 2012.
