Off we go!
The Irkutsk Region is a constituent entity of the Russian Federation in southeastern Siberia. It's a region that boasts a rich history, well-developed infrastructure and industry, and a unique ecosystem. Its population is over 2, 000, 000 people. The Irkutsk Region has great scientific and innovative potential.
The region actively develops interregional and international relations in the field of science, education, industry, culture, transport, power engineering, etc. The experience in the implementation of such projects shows that international engagement, sharing experience and technology, joint research, and cultural events promote the development of each party. This process matches well with a Russian proverb that says, 'Two heads are better than one.' It means that joining efforts of a few people or countries to do one big task considerably accelerates this process and helps achieve the best results.
