Programme presentation. Education and training is performed according to the following specialties: “Maintenance of Aircrafts and Engines”, “Maintenance and Servicing of Objects and Systems of Fuel Supply of Airports and Aircrafts of Civil Aviation”.

Graduates’ professional activity includes research and technology areas, which are connected with servicing aircraft equipment in airline companies, aircraft maintenance depots, research and educational institutions of civil aviation. Engineers are skilled in flight worthiness maintenance and assuring the highest level of flight safety.

The academic process is carried out in modern classrooms and laboratories, which are equipped with samples of aircraft techniques. The University has in place training and simulation aviation facilities, computer and media-centres.

The Programme is accredited by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Teaching staff. The Faculty houses several research schools: “Research and Flight Worthiness Maintenance”, “Problems of Safety Provision in Civil Aviation”, “Application of Mathematical Modeling in Strength, Durability and Robustness Analysis of Aircraft Structures in Normal and Special Flight Conditions”, “Contemporary Issues of Environment-Friendly Repair and Reconstruction Technologies” and others.

Competitiveness of students. During working practice in aviation enterprises students are involved in solving production tasks and acquire professional skills of maintenance and repair of aircrafts.

The Programme’s graduates are highly demanded qualified engineers of civil aviation. They work in companies of technical maintenance and repair of aircrafts, research and design institutions, manufacturing enterprises, design laboratories of aircraft developers. Some graduates are heads of such companies.
