In May 5-8 Sixth International Symposium "Frontiers in Polymer Science" was held in Budapest, Hungary.
Organised in partnership with Materials Today, the Symposium offered an exciting new format of three parallel sessions with invited and contributed talks in addition to plenary lectures and poster sessions.
The full 3-day symposium consisted of 9 plenary lectures, given by outstanding scientists whose exceptionally work represents new frontiers for polymer science. In addition, there were three parallel oral sessions, and poster sessions which covered interdisciplinary hot topics within Polymer Science.
Seven featured speakers presented in each of the parallel sessions:
•Advanced precision synthesis
•Merging polymer structure with dynamics
•Polymer technology for solving societal challenges.
Scientists from Kazakh National University, Urkimbayeva P. I. and Kazybayeva D.S. participated in poster session of the conference with the titles “Development of polymer cement plasticizers based on hydrophilic copolymers” and “Novel polymer materials prepared via thiol-ene click chemistry”.
