NORTH-CAUCASUS FEDERAL UNIVERSITY

Dmitry N. BESPALOV, Acting Rector of North-Caucasus Federal University, Candidate of Political Sciences.

Mr. Bespalov was born on May 09, 1980 in Moscow. He was trained at the Federal Security Service Institute (Saint Petersburg) and underwent further training at Institute of World Economy and Informatization (Moscow) majoring in Law. He took a refresher course in State and Municipal Management at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. From 1999 to 2008 he served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. From 2008 to 2017 he worked at National Research University Higher School of Economics holding the positions of Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs and Deputy Vice-Rector.

In 2017 - 2019 Mr. Bespalov held the position of Vice-Rector of Far Eastern Federal University. In November 2019 he was appointed Acting Rector of North-Caucasus Federal University. His research interests are information security and political processes.
