The University of Management “TISBI” was founded in 1992 in Kazan and is now listed among the best non-state universities of Russia. Having become the first non-state university in the Republic of Tatarstan, it turned into reality the concept of a brand-new university, which provides high-quality, career-oriented, business- and technology-based education.

About university

The campus of the University of Management “TISBI” includes three institutional buildings in the center of Kazan. It is all-equipped with up-to-date multimedia, hyperknowledge and other educational facilities and a library that contains over 200,000 items and electronic resources. The university offers accessible high-quality education in the most popular educational programs of higher education using advanced teaching methods.

In 2020, the University of Management “TISBI” reaffirmed its status of an educational organization with high-level educational activities and successfully underwent state accreditation. The results of the thorough peer review showed compliance of all educational programs implemented by the university with the strict requirements of educational and professional standards, which proves the quality of education, a high level of the teaching staff’s competence and availability of the university’s decent facilities and resources.

By order of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science № 540 of April 16, 2020, state accreditation of educational activities was renewed for the longest possible period — till 2026, for all educational programs and all higher education levels: Bachelor’s degree, Specialist’s degree, Master’s degree and postgraduate studies.

Education

The University of Management “TISBI” implements over 50 principal professional educational programs.

For example, the Information Technologies Faculty enrolls applicants in popular programs such as software engineering and applied informatics. In 2019 these fields of study became the most in-demand ones among applicants throughout Russia. Students and graduates of the faculty can easily create design algorithms as well as automation processes.

Since its first days, the university runs the International Relations Department, which trains foreign affairs experts that are in high demand in the global labor market. By the way, University of Management “TISBI” is the one of two universities in the Republic of Tatarstan that offers this major.

The University of Management “TISBI” applies advanced educational technologies in all fields of study: practical games, binary lectures. The university provides practice-oriented training: major employers directly participate in the educational process, accept students for internships and employ graduates. It offers multidisciplinary training almost in all areas: additional classes in economics and law that will help graduates start their own business.

Among graduates of The University of Management “TISBI” are owners of business, heads of state committees, government agencies and ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation. The University of Management “TISBI” has global alumni network: its graduates hold senior positions at international organizations, officially represent the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia on the world stage.

International cooperation

The University of Management “TISBI” is an active international university engaged in collaborative projects and partnerships all over the world. One of key areas of the university’s activity is development of international cooperation in joint educational programs, academic mobility and research.

Today the University of Management “TISBI” collaborates with over 20 universities worldwide through international networks and university-wide projects, cooperation platforms both in terms of research and education. It runs academic mobility, exchange agreements and welcomes students all over the globe.

Our partnerships are essential in delivering our overall strategic aims through research and teaching collaborations with the University of the Potomac (USA), South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences XAMK (Finland), Higher School of Economics and Culture EKA in Riga (Latvia), Baishev University (Kazakhstan), Changchun University (China), Shinhan University (Republic of Korea).

The University of Management “TISBI” has been successfully cooperating with UNESCO for more than 20 years now. It is the world’s only university, which participates in three

UNESCO networks at once: UNITWIN / UNESCO Chairs Programme, the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (UNESCO ASPnet) and the UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre for vocational education. The University of Management “TISBI” also works with FISU (International University Sports Federation), INS HEA (Institute of Disability and Special educational needs), Fulbright foundation, ERA.Net Rus Plus, ERASMUS, and others.
