Acting Rector of Lipetsk State Technical University: Pavel Viktorovich SARAEV, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor.

Prof. Saraev was born in 1978. He finished school with gold medal in 1995 and graduated with honors from LSTU with a degree in Applied Mathematics in 2000. In 2013 he defended his thesis for a degree of Doctor of Engineering Sciences in Mathematical Modeling, Calculus and Program Complexes.

Prof. Saraev served as Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Informatics of LSTU from 2010 to 2017 and as the Head of Department of Automated Control Systems for three years starting from 2014.

P.V. Saraev is the author of more than 200 scientific and methodological papers, a supervisor and an executive of more than 15 research projects  as part of the grants provided by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the assignment of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the order of the Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works. From 2016 to 2019 he was a member of the Expert Committee for Control, Computer Science and Informatics of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Since December 2018 Prof. Saraev has been Acting Rector of LSTU.
