UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY TODAY

The University of Technology is one of the leading universities of the Moscow Region, the center for lifelong learning and all-around training of qualified professionals for aerospace industrial enterprises. It trains top-ranked specialists in the field of aircraft and rocket production, mechatronics and robotics, information technology, information and economic security, quality management, economics and finance, customs procedures, state and municipal management, psychology, orthopedics, design, etc. In 2018  the university was included into the Top-100 best educational institutions of Russia (ac­cording to the ranking compiled by RAEX Agency).

The University of Technology comprises four institutes and institutions of secondary vocational education. It established the supplementary education center "The Quantorium children’s technopark."  The center's main partner is the Roscosmos Space State Corporation.

The university implements a strategy for integration of education, science, production and business through the establishment of specialized departments (14), specialized research and education centers and academic laboratories at the enterprises of the regional research and production complex, at research institutions and business entities. The curricula provide for project developments, internships and work placement at research organizations and foreign universities. In order to implement joint research projects with the Composite city-forming enterprise, the university established the Engineering Center "High-Temperature Composites." The university is a basic higher education institution of the North-Eastern academic cluster and a participant of the Federal Interregional Cluster "Composites without Borders," the Moscow Region Electrical Engineering Industrial Cluster "Electrical Engineering XXI" and the Territorial Innovative Cluster for Nuclear Physics and Nanotechnologies. The university actively develops international cooperation. It has concluded over 40 cooperation agreements with foreign universities of Europe and Asia. The university has a Н+ status in the international ANABIN system and is a constant participant of numerous international exhibitions, conferences and forums. The University of Technology is a member of the WorldSkills movement. Students of the university are winners of both regional and national championships. The university not only provides high-quality training, but also pays much attention to educational, patriotic and sports work with students. Students can join various circles, sports clubs, on-stage performance groups, the Club of the Funny and Inventive (the KVN).
