Achievements and awards. The programs underwent state accreditation in 2020 and international professional-public accreditation for six years in 2014. In 2016 the department was awarded the diploma “The Best Department in Academic and Methodological Work at NCFU.”

Teaching staff. The teaching staff consists of 25 employees including 7 Professors, 18 Associate Professors, 5 laureates of the RF Government Award in Education. All teachers have academic degrees.

Facilities and resources. The classrooms have state-of-the-art equipment and computer facilities. The university has 7 gyms, a swimming pool, 5 dormitories.

Research. The teaching staff conducts research at the REC "Innovative Technologies in Management" on the topics that correspond to the goals and objectives of the educational program.

Education. The teachers use active teaching methods (discussions, computer simulations, business games and role plays, case study, etc.) taking into account each student's educational needs and peculiarities. The university established the scientific school “Contemporary Issues in Theory and Practice of Corporate Management.” The department implements professional retraining programs; the Presidential Program for Training Management Personnel for the National Economy of Russia.

Employers are engaged in the development of educational programs.

Strategic partners. Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Trento (Italy), the International Academy for Management and Technology INTAMT (Germany), Belarus State Economic University, federal universities of the RF, Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov, major regional enterprises, etc.

International projects and programs. The department annually participates in the project "Marketing Challenge of the University of Trento;" the double degree program in International Management with Sapienza University of Rome, academic exchange with the University of Piraeus (Greece) and other top European universities.

Competitive advantages. The teaching staff is highly qualified. There is a new academic building with state-of-the-art training equipment, the research and education center "Innovative Technologies in Management." The university provides practice-oriented training, and majors are in high demand.

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. Internationalization of the educational and research process is one of NCFU's top priorities and is a strategically important vector of the university development. NCFU established the Department of International Cooperation. Foreign students are accommodated in the comfortable dormitory.
