Rector: Anna Arkadevna GLUKHANYUK, Candidate of Culturology, Associate Professor at the Department of Producer Business, Theory and Practice of Performing Art.
Prof. Glukhanyuk was born in Yekaterinburg. She graduated from UralStateUniversity named after A.M. Gorky with a degree in Cultural Studies. She has been Rector of Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute since 2016. Her research interests include the issues of cultural studies and history of theatrical education of Russia. She is the author of more than 40 scientific publications.
Prof. Glukhanyuk was the manager of the Russian-German project “Dialogue of Cultures” as part of the Federal Targeted Program “Culture of Russia;” a DAAD program intern (Germany); a holder of the Fulbright scholarship and the Carnegie scholarship (USA).
