IVANOVO STATE MEDICAL ACADEMY

Rector: Evgenii Valerevich BORZOV, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Public Health of the Russian Federation.

Prof. Borzov was born in 1960. He graduated from Ivanovo State Medical Institute with MD degree in General Medicine. He has been loyal to IvanovoMedicalAcademy throughout all his career. He rose from a registrar to the position of Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology.

Prof. Borzov has been Rector since 2011. His research interests include the study of age-related peculiarities, diagnostics and treatment of pharyngeal lymphoid ring pathology. He is the author of more than 120 published scientific papers.

He has been a representative of the Ivanovo Region in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation since 2017.
