The Olympiad for International Applicants “INRTU - STEM Olympiad”

Irkutsk National Research Technical University, a leading research university in Eastern Siberia, invites young researchers to participate in the International Olympiad for School Students.

INRTU - STEM Olympiad is an English-language Olympiad in four specialization areas:

  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Information Technology.

You are invited to take part in two subject Olympiads. Mathematics is compulsory, but you can choose the second area yourself.

Attention! Participating in the Olympiad is a serious and responsible thing. To prepare for the Olympiad, you can use the following learning materials:

You can take part in the Olympiad at any time from November 01, 2020 till March 31, 2021. After registration you'll have one month to log in to the virtual platform of the Olympiad and complete all the tasks. The winner is decided for every country in the total ranking following the results of two Olympiads.

INRTU trains highly qualified personnel for defense industry, oil and power industries, specialists in

the field of mechatronics, robotics, geoinformatics and geophysics, aviation mechanical engineering and transport, telecommunications technologies, environmental engineering, international business, and many other sectors. Don't miss you chance to join INRTU's student community, get excellent education and a profession for the future.

Competition regulations

  1. Mathematics is a compulsory component of the Olympiad
  2. Choose an additional Olympiad specialization: Physics, Chemistry or Information Technology.
  3. Fill out the application for participation. Make sure your contact details are correct.
  4. Wait for an invitation to the virtual platform of the Olympiad.
  5. Install the Telegram app on your phone. We'll inform the participants and communicate with them via this app.

Awards

The prizes are provided by Irkutsk National Research Technical University. Every participating country will have 3 winners.

1st place - a 80% tuition discount for any INRTU English-taught bachelor program

2nd place -  a 60% tuition discount for any INRTU English-taught bachelor program

3rd place - a 40% tuition discount for any INRTU English-taught bachelor program
