The State University of Humanities and Social Studies in Kolomna is one of the top universities in the Moscow Region, with a mission to provide teaching staff for the southeast part of the region.
The university consists of 12 faculties and 19 departments as well as two branches that train mid-level specialists. More than 4,500 students and PhD students are studying at the university today.
The university has seven scientific schools, the Center for Continuous Improvement of Teachers’ Professional Skills, the International Education and Testing Center, the Continuing Education Center, the “Territory of Childhood” Children’s Development Center, the Regional Linguistics Center, the “Fakt” Forensic Evidence Examination, and the “Psygrad” Applied Research Center.
