Pharmacy
Accreditation. State accreditation for an indefinite period. Professional-public accreditation (the Medical League of Russia).
Awards and achievements. The National Aggregate Ranking, green zone, 3rd league out of 10.
Teaching staff. Training is provided at 18 theoretical and clinical departments. The departments employ more than 156 teachers, including 147 full-time teachers (94.2%), 29 of whom (18.6%) are under 35 inclusive, 79 (50.6%) Candidates of Sciences, and 22 (14.1%) Doctors of Sciences.
Learning outcomes. Graduates obtain a qualification of pharmacist in charge.
Facilities and resources. Classrooms are fitted with technical teaching aids. Individual study rooms have computers with internet access and access to the electronic information educational environment of the university. The clinical facilities are the university clinic and other healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations in the city. Simulation training is provided at the interdisciplinary accreditation simulation center. There are electronic library systems such as Student’s Consultant, MedBaseGeotar, and eLIBRARY.ru.
Research. Students read professional literature, study the achievements of Russian and foreign science and technology, prepare scientific abstracts (literature reviews), participate in research, collect, process, analyze and arrange scientific data on the subject, draw up reports on the subject, prepare reports and speak at conferences, prepare for the publication of research papers (articles, talk abstracts), and do research internships. The faculty conducts an experimental study of the pharmacological activity of new drug substances and extraction products made from plant raw materials. Pharmacoeconomic and microbiological studies are also conducted.

The program content makes it possible to train highly qualified personnel capable of completing production, organizational and managerial, research and control and permission tasks. The university pharmacy makes it possible to provide practical training for future specialists at the university.
Career prospects and employment. The program was highly valued by employers and recognized as compliant with the professional standards and the job market requirements for specialists in the relevant field. Graduates of the Pharmaceutical Faculty have ample employment opportunities. The annual graduate employment rate is 90%, and the remaining 10% continue their education by pursuing a residency program in the relevant field of study. The employers are pharmacies in Tver, the Tver Region, Moscow, and the Moscow Region.
