Unibase was founded in 2018 by Sergey Kondratiev, a prominent representative of a new wave of Russian educators who devoted his career to the development of the export of educational services and the integration of Russia into the global education space.
Unibase consistently promotes Russian education and popularizes the Russian language abroad. The company’s main mission is to help international applicants navigate admission regulations at Russian universities, making the process
clear and understandable.
The company actively develops cooperation with leading universities by organizing visits of delegations and signing agreements, as well as participating in major education fairs such as CIEET in China. In June 2025, with the support of Unibase, Sechenov University opened its Representative Office and Testing Center in the city of Hangzhou (China), where applicants can take entrance exams without leaving their country. This confirmed the status of the company as a reliable partner.
The company's success was also noted at the country level. In December 2025, Unibase acted as the contractor for Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy in holding the Forum of Foreign Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities that took place in Beijing. The event brought together over 200 guests from different Asian countries and representatives of Russia’s public sector. The administration of Rossotrudnichestvo and the university expressed a high opinion of the forum, which proves the Unibase team’s expertise in holding international events.
