The university trains highly qualified specialists in the following areas: chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering and biotechnology, medical technologies, environmental safety, and food control.
Training is provided at the Faculty of Industrial Drug Technology, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Institute of International Educational Programs. There are several research and education centers, including those at the top pharmaceutical companies: Molecular and Cell Technologies (Biocad, the Saint Petersburg Scientific Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums of the FMBA of Russia), Physics and Mathematics and Digital Technologies, and others.
In 2022, the educational programs of Saint-Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University obtained international and professional-public accreditation. The Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, Master’s and residency programs were recognized as fully compliant with the criteria and requirements of the international standards of ENQA (the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and requirements of the top pharmaceutical companies.
