Awards and achievements of the educational program. International professional-public accreditation (2016). The issued certificate confirms that the educational program quality complies with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-ENQA).
North-Caucasus Federal University also offers a Master’s program in Social Work.
Teaching staff. The degree-granting department employs 28 teachers including four Doctors of Sciences and 19 Candidates of Sciences. Some teachers are holders of the title of Excellent Worker of Public Education, have certificates of appreciation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the
University partners within the educational program.
Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Students successfully participate in olympiads, conferences and contests: N.A. Kurbanova, the second place in the field of Social Work in the Erudite contest in the All-Russian Student Olympiad (Bachelor), (Moscow, 2017); V.D. Toropilkina, the first place in the category of Intellectual in the II Regional Student Social Work Olympiad among the North-Caucasus Federal District entities (Makhachkala, 2017).
The outstanding alumni include I.A. Semenova, a leading specialist at the Management Board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation; I.N. Nechitailo, Head of the In-Home Hospice Department of the Territorial Social Service Center for Senior Citizens and Disabled People (Stavropol). Over 85% of alumni are employed within their degree field.
Facilities and resources. The academic buildings of the university have all the equipment required for classes of all types. Students can benefit from eight comfortable dormitories, five refectories and nine snack bars, a healthcare center, a sports and fitness complex, and sports grounds.
