Achievements. The programs successfully underwent state accreditation until 2026.
Teaching staff. The teachers are Doctors and Candidates of Economic Sciences and have good research and academic methodological performance indicators. Every year they participate in international, national and regional research and practice conferences and have scientific papers and monographs published in the leading Russian and international journals, including the journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, the database of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, and the Russian Science Citation Index database.
Facilities and resources. The university library is stocked according to the educational standards. All Master’s students have free access, through their personal accounts in the university’s electronic learning environment, to the curricula, steering documents, and online versions of the library systems www.iprbooks.ru и www.urait.ru as well as legal information systems such as Chief Accountant and Check of the Contractors. The university’s electronic learning environment not only provides access to e-learning resources but also allows the teachers to support all kinds of Master students’ independent work, establishing interaction between the participants of the educational process over the internet.
Learning outcomes. Master’s students carry out an in-depth economic analysis, assess the company’s performance as far as profitability is concerned, develop a corporate development strategy, conduct in-depth theoretical and empirical research in accounting and taxation, and develop new products sought after by commercial organizations working in the competitive business environment. Many extramural Master’s students majoring in Accounting and Taxation in Business are employed at the Federal Tax Service and have access to the automated tax control system and the ecosystem of the Federal Tax Service. They can undertake internships in their professional field at the subdivisions of the Federal Tax Service of the Republic of Tatarstan as well as and consulting and auditing companies, and commercial organizations. Thanks to aligned knowledge and practical analysis skills, obtained during Master’s studies, graduates are successful in analytical and project and economic activities, make and implement effective decisions in the field of economics, accounting and taxation, and do research in the chosen field. All of this opens prospects for pursuing a PhD degree in Regional Economics.
