Achievements. The program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in innovative financial technologies, crowdfunding platforms, credit brokering as well as trend watchers and financial engineers capable of working with a venture fund portfolio. A high level of this educational program is confirmed by state accreditation until 2026.
Teaching staff. The academic degree holders ratio is 99%. The heads and specialists of banking and finance companies that have discipline-related work experience are engaged in delivering the program, which makes the program practice-oriented. The teachers underwent retraining to apply interactive educational technologies at the top Russian universities. They have their papers published in the journals indexed in databases such as the Scopus and Web of Science, the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles and the Russian Science Citation Index, present their research findings at international and national research and practice conferences.
Facilities and resources. Master’s students have access to electronic library systems such as www.iprbooks.ru and urait.ru, electronic content of disciplines in the ISU VUZ system which is an exclusive development of the University of Management “TISBI.” Training through innovative methods (business games, case studies, cross-cutting cases, business games, workshops, individual practical tasks, etc.) is an advantage of the program.
Learning outcomes. The program is aimed at training highly professional financiers who are knowledgeable about methods of financial and economic analysis, technology, methodology and tools for making finance and investment decisions in the field of financial innovations, development and design of complex financial products, risk management, portfolio and fiduciary asset management. Research activities of Master’s students are related to financial economy performance, analysis of processes in financial markets and specific features of the performance of financial institutions, including investment companies, banks, and insurance companies. Practical skills are developed during internships at specialized companies. Training includes academic lectures by Doctors of Economic Sciences, master classes from chief financial officers and representatives of banks, major enterprises and investment and insurance companies, computer simulation business games, and team project work. Participation of Master’s students in the international online project X-Culture Global Collaboration Course promotes publication of their research findings in the journals reviewed by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the RF, Scopus, Web of Science, and RSCI.
