Psychological and Pedagogical Education
Achievements. The programs are based on the fundamental knowledge of pedagogy and psychology, complemented by the opportunity to acquire practical skills and abilities in educational psychology. The programs are updated on a regular basis according to the most important vectors of development of the system of education and psychological and pedagogical support for the educational process as well as taking into account the job market’s current needs. The program is ranked among the best programs in the competition for the development of higher education programs updated to meet the digital economy needs as part of the federal project “Personnel for Digital Economy.”
Teaching staff. The teaching staff members engaged in the educational process are highly qualified and have good research performance indicators. The teaching staff includes two Professors, Doctors of Sciences, Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, Honored Workers of Higher Professional Education of the RF as well as leading educational specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan such as heads of educational institutions, educational psychologists, special education teachers, teachers, and preschool teachers.
Learning outcomes. Students gain up-to-date knowledge of the main trends in the development of the system of psychological and pedagogical support for the educational process based on the use of modern innovative learning technologies, digital learning technologies and modern internet resources. They acquire innovation experience in inclusive education at the Resource Center for Education of Disabled People in the Volga Federal District and learn how to use professional certified diagnostic tools of educational psychologists in special laboratories of TISBI. Graduates have the opportunity to continue their education by pursuing a Master’s degree at TISBI under the supervision of A. Gryaznov, Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences.
Research is actively conducted under the supervision of highly qualified teachers. Students participate in research conducted by the author’s scientific schools of the department professors, in specialized exhibitions, republican and international conferences, all-Russian contests and Olympiads, and in student science decades. Among the students of this program are holders of scholarships for academic and research excellence at different levels.
Career prospects and employment. Students have the opportunity to gain professional experience at the best educational institutions of the republic and psychological and pedagogical counseling centers and social support centers. The university has cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the RT, the Ministry of Education of the RT, and numerous non-governmental organizations.
