Teaching staff. High-level Bachelors training is provided by the degree-granting department staff including two Candidates of Engineering Sciences, two Candidates of Agricultural Sciences, five Candidates of Economic Sciences (A.V. Kriakhtunov, A.M. Ermakova, Iu.V. Zubareva, O.V. Pelymskaia, E.G. Chernykh). Practitioners in the field of land law and cadastral properties are also engaged in the educational process. At the moment two Doctor’s and three Candidate’s dissertations are being prepared.
University partners within the educational program. The Department of Land Relations and Urban Development of the Tyumen Administration, the Federal Cadastral Chamber of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography for the Tyumen Region, the Tyumen Municipal District Administration.
Alumni’s achievements. Alumni of the department are employed at executive and legislative authorities, work for business companies specializing in land evaluation, land plots surveying, land resources evaluation and apply their knowledge in the field of education and science.
Alumni are in great demand at cadastral registration bodies, multifunctional centers of state services, government agencies and administrative bodies of different levels, at manufacturing sites. Annually the department graduate 130-140 students.
Facilities and resources. The university has all required facilities and resources providing a comfortable learning environment for students. There are 13 comfortable dormitories; classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment.
Opportunities for students. The Industrial University of Tyumen actively expands partnership relations with the universities of China, Sweden, Germany, Japan, France, the USA, Belgium, Great Britain, Finland, Romania, Austria, Poland, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and participates in academic exchange programs. The university develops scientific and technical cooperation with international transnational firms. The Industrial University of Tyumen’s degree certificates are recognized and highly valued all over the world. International companies take an active part in staff training, provide places for internships and scholarship support.
