Accreditation. State accreditation (2021), professional-public accreditation (2020).
Achievements. The program was recognized as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia in 2022. Students are the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian contest for the best research paper of higher education institutions of the RF Ministry of Agriculture. In 2023, the institute’s student scientific circles demonstrated their achievements at the scientific forum “AgroScience and Student Community: Food for Thought” and took the first place in the championship held by the All-Russian Case Movement “Professionals of the Future.”
Teaching staff. The programs are delivered by seven departments that employ the highly qualified teachers, including Professors, Doctors of Sciences and Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors. The institute’s teaching staff takes an active part in grant activities. Four applications were supported by the Russian Science Foundation and the Regional Science Foundation in 2022.
Facilities and resources. Specialized classrooms, modern educational and research laboratories, training workshops, an electrical installation range, a production and training center, and a show floor.
Education. Students learn to effectively use and carry out service maintenance of agricultural machinery, means of electrification and automation of agricultural production technology processes. They study machinery for production, storage and transportation of crop and livestock products, agricultural machinery manufacturing technologies and means, technologies of maintenance, diagnosis and repair of machinery and equipment, machinery testing methods and means; electrified and automated agricultural technology processes, electrical equipment, power plants and automation means for agricultural and household purposes; energy-saving technologies and systems of electricity, heat-, and water supply of agricultural consumers.
Research. Each department has student scientific societies and circles. Every year around 30% of students conduct research. Articles are published and papers are presented with their participation at the conferences of different levels.
Employers and employment. The institute graduates hold senior positions at agricultural, motor transport, repair and processing companies of different forms of incorporation, branded service and dealer plants of equipment manufacturers, in the logistic support system; at agricultural, processing, repair, energy-saving, electric network service and operation companies of different forms of incorporation as well as at research and design organizations.
