Achievements. The student of the Specialist’s program Alfiya Samkaeva won the research contest for personal scholarships from Mayor of Kazan among students and postgraduate studentsin 2017, won the grant of the all-Russian contest of youth projects for implementation of the socially-oriented business project “Innovative Focus on Inclusion” in 2018 (implemented the grant projects of Rosmolodezh “The Center of Student Entrepreneurship” in 2018-2019), and got the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation in 2019-2020.

Teaching staff. The Economic and Legal Support for Economic Security program is implemented by the faculty members who have major-related basic higher professional education and carry out research and academic activities. A total of 50 faculty members of the University of Management “TISBI” are engaged in the program implementation. The academic degree ratio is 86.75%.

Facilities and resources. Each student has access to the electronic library system that contains academic literature on principal subjects. The university building comprises a refectory, a library, a reading hall, a gym, a self-access center, multimedia classrooms, a business game center, an electronic shooting gallery, a forensic laboratory, computer classrooms. The facilities and resources support all kinds of disciplinary and interdisciplinary training, students’ practical and research activities provided for by the curriculum.

Education. The program is implemented using state-of-the-art information technologies. Students have access to state-of-the-art professional databases, information reference and search systems. The learning process combines theoretical training with business games, case study, master classes of experts.

The teachers use learning innovations: computer simulation business games that help students immerse in the near-real working environment of the economic security service of a commercial bank or an enterprise.

Strategic partners. The university has signed cooperation agreements with a number of government entities and commercial organizations that serve as facilities for work placement of prospective economic security specialists. The social projects are Kazan Linear Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport, the Directorate of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the MIA for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tax Crime Combating Department of the MIA for the Republic of Tatarstan, Audit Expert, the Business Economic Security Agency, the Cerberus security company, security departments of commercial banks, district and interdistrict tax offices.
