Awards and achievements. The program is on the list of Russia's best innovative programs of 2014. Certificate of Professional-Public Accreditation #016-0011, 12.12.2018, INO "AKKORK."
Teaching staff. Head of the specialization is V. Sushkov, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor. Author of 98 scientific and educational works, eight patents and copyright certificates. 11 PhD theses were defended under V. Sushkov's guidance. The master's degree program is carried out by highly qualified teaching staff. The percentage of scientific degree holders is 100, including two managers of Giprotyumengaz project company. Employees of companies of fuel and energy complex and electric power organizations are involved in teaching. The teachers have yearly internships at fuel and energy complex companies: Transneft-Sibir, Gazprom, Rosneft, as well as at electric power organizations — SUENKO and Rosseti Tyumen.
Facilities and resources. Seven specialized laboratories fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. Students are trained to work in specialized software products in cooperation with Si Soft Tyumen. Option of practice at specialized companies.
Research. During the master's degree training, participation in research work is a prerequisite. Due to this, the students regularly win all-Russian and regional Olympiads and student work contests. The students are the winners of the qualifying stage of the international engineering championship CASE-IN in 2018, 2019, 2020 in Electric Power Engineering.
Education. The master's degree program is carried out in practical module format. This format implies theoretical module learning with practice at the premises of the region's leading companies.
Strategic partners. The partner companies are Rosseti Tyumen, SUENKO, Transneft-Sibir.
Competitive advantages. The students are assigned to a partner company in order to prepare their scientific research papers. In cooperation with technical engineering staff, they work on the topic of their research and receive practical skills. Due to the partner relations, flexible study schedule and practical angle of scientific research work almost 100% of postgraduates get employed at fuel and energy complex companies and electric power organizations even during their studies.
