Awards and achievements. The program received a Certificate of Professional and Public Accreditation with 5 years' duration, 12.25.2018, by Volgograd Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The students participate in the Federal exam among undergraduates since 2017, are winners of various contests such as "Praise to the Man of Labor!," "Problems of Sustainable Development in the Industrial and Regional Aspects," participate in conferences such as "Actual Issues of Science and Engineering," "Energy Saving and Innovative Technologies in the Fuel and Energy Complex," "New Technologies to the Oil and Gas Region," "Energy: Management, Quality and Efficiency of the Use of Energy Resources."

Teaching staff. The educational process is carried out by highly qualified teachers. The percentage of scientific degree holders is 70, including three Doctors of Sciences, six Candidates of Sciences, three Professors, six Associate Professors. Representatives of the real sector of the economy are involved in teaching.

Facilities and resources. State-of-the-art multimedia equipment, licensed software, computer and specialized classrooms, library and information center with access to Internet and electronic resources. Training laboratory of thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer with compressors and heat pumps.

Research. Heat supply systems, heating networks, boiler plants, thermal power plants, compressor and pumping stations, gas turbine plants and pipe thermal modes. A research laboratory of advanced research of heat and mass transfer by porous metal and heat and mass transfer by turbulizing inserts is available.

Education. State-of-the-art educational modules and technologies, including ICT, are used, as well as practical module training in cooperation with partner companies. The students learn to manage the project documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, analyze source data for the design of power facilities and their elements, carry out calculations in accordance with the terms of reference, develop a simple scheme of thermal power facilities, compile and create operational documentation according to the equipment operation and work organization rules, develop measures for energy and resource conservation in heat power engineering, manage technological processes with the help of computer technology and applications.

Strategic partners. Tyumen Thermal Power Plant-1, Neftegazproyekt Institute, Intertekhelektro-Turbomontazh, MZHK-Stroy.
