Awards and achievements. Certificate of Professional-Social Accreditation, 11.26.2020, issued by Certification Association "Russian Registry". Students' and teachers' papers are regularly published in conference digests and in magazines from the Higher Attestation Commission, Scopus and Web of Science lists.
Teaching staff. There are 48 teachers involved in the educational program. Among them are three Professors — Doctors of Sciences, 34 Candidates of Sciences, four representatives of the real economy sector. The Head of the Department N. Zakharov is a Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, full member of the Russian Academy of Transport, honorary worker of higher professional education of Russian Federation. The Heads of the educational programs are E. Kozin — Assistant Professor, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, V. Tyulkin — Assistant Professor, Candidate of Engineering Sciences.
Facilities and resources. The lectures take place in modern rooms. Available are four specialized laboratories for studying automotive construction, automotive engines, mechatronic systems, operational materials, maintenance, automotive repair and diagnostics.
Research. Design and optimization of transport and transport-technological systems, modeling the processes of automobile quality changes, developing software products for modeling systems.
Education. The education is carried out in the following specializations: "Maintenance of Transport and Transport-Technological Machines and Equipment (Oil and Gas Production)," "Motor Transport Mechatronics," "Organization and Technologies of Automotive Business." Open lectures by industrialists and successful entrepreneurs. Practical classes at the partner industrial companies' premises, such as Avtograd Group, Surgutneftegaz, Municipal State Department "Tyumengortrans."
Strategic partners. Avtograd Group, Surgutneftegaz, Municipal State Department "Tyumengortrans." Transneft, Road Patrol Service with Department of Traffic Police of the Tyumen Region, Tekhnokom — Invest, TATSGAZ Group, DINA, Sibintel.
International projects and programs. The teachers and students of the Department take part in conferences such as "Transport-Technological Systems," "Oil and Gas of West Siberia," etc. which take place at IUT and universities of other cities.
