Achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. The department implemented three RFBR grants in 2016-2021.

Teaching staff. All teachers have academic degrees. The teaching staff includes six Doctors of Sciences, including two visiting professors of Heidelberg University (Germany).

Facilities and resources. NCFU has all the required facilities and resources, including equipment for focus groups.

Research is based on the constellation of classical approaches, present-day developments in computer science, graph theory, and big data analysis algorithms.

Research area: Social Framework, Social Institutions and Social Processes Management (supervised by D. Lushnikov).

Studies: "Socio-economic Infrastructure of Rural Settlements of East Regions of the Stavropol Territory" (the Ministry of Regional Development, World Bank), "Evaluation of Quality and Satisfaction with State Budgetary Services" (the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory), "Monitoring of Socio-political Activity of Stavropol Population" (Stavropol City Duma), "Stavropol Population's Attitude towards Corruption (Stavropol City Administration), "Sociological Analysis of the Labor Market of Managerial Human Resources" (the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Stavropol Territory), etc.

Education. Teachers use state-of-the-art technologies, including distance learning technologies: workshops, case studies, e-learning, interactive research internships, interactive lectures, business games, projects, etc.

Strategic partners. NCFU cooperates with regional authorities and top regional enterprises.

International projects and programs. Teachers and students take part in the Tempus Tuning program in partnership with the universities of Russia and EU countries, the Immanuel Kant program jointly financed by DAAD and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
