Awards and achievements. Students take an active part in the contest "My Contribution to Grandeur of Russia," in all-Russian congresses for young researchers, the Olympiad "I am a Professional," the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship. To improve their practical knowledge, students take part in the student championships held by the Skills Development Agency in the Aerial Robotics competency. They are the winners of the student track of the Circle Movement of the National Technology Initiative and implement interdisciplinary graduation projects on an assignment of the executive authorities in Saint Petersburg.

Teaching staff. The teachers have unique knowledge and skills in the development of various complex engineering systems and control systems. More than 90% of the teaching staff hold academic degrees and conduct research in the field of system analysis and system optimization models. The leading heads and representatives of specialized enterprises are invited to teach students.

Facilities and resources. Students study in specialized laboratories fitted with instrumentation systems, specialized application packages for data analysis, software systems for the implementation of automation programs as well as on the up-to-date and in-demand information systems and application programs used by enterprises and research organizations.

Research. Students conduct research in the field of analysis, development, design, study and introduction of modern complex systems and technologies and intelligent control systems. The objects of professional activity are complex information, managerial and engineering man-machine systems and technologies as well as the objects requiring a system analysis approach for control. Students gain knowledge in the field of development forecasting and decision making under uncertainty.
