Achievements and awards. The program underwent state accreditation in 2020 and international professional-public accreditation in 2015.

Teaching staff. Training is provided by the highly professional teaching staff. The academic degree holders ratio is 85% (10% of teachers have Doctor of Science degrees).

Facilities and resources. NCFU has all the required facilities and resources that provide a comfortable learning and social environment for students and develop their personal and creative potential. The foreign teachers and specialists from Germany, Slovakia, Romania, and the USA are engaged in academic and research activities.

Research. The promising research areas: theory and practice of youth outreach management; youth outreach management in the field of law, labor and education; the educational work system management.

Education. The following technologies are actively used: workshops and playing technique, case study, e-learning, interactive research practical training, interactive lectures, etc. Adaptive learning technologies and models are applied to support physically challenged students.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the Government of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory and with the following HEIs: Russian State Social University, the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Southern Federal University, Pyatigorsk State University, Kuban State University, Dagestan State University, Karachaevo-Cherkessky State University named after U.D. Aliev, Omsk State Pedagogical University, Kazan National Research Technological University, etc. It also maintains partnership relations with Heidelberg University, the BMW Charity Fund, University of Manitoba (Canada) for inclusive education environment development.

Competitive advantages. The advantage is an out-of-class work oriented at students' practices. Since 2012, the department has been traditionally holding seminars with the participation of practitioners of the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory, the Directorate of Youth Policy of the Office of the Government of the Stavropol Territory.

Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. Internationalization of the educational and research process is one of NCFU's top priorities and is a strategically important vector of the university development. NCFU established the Department of International Cooperation.
