Accreditation. State accreditation (for an indefinite period). Professional-public accreditation (2021).

Awards and achievements. In 2023, the program was recognized as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia. The Voronezh Region Government Award in Science and Education. The award from the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Voronezh Region, the second place in the category “Best Practices of Student Teams Management among Higher Education Institutions Subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation,” and the winners of the professional skill competition for student medical teams in 2023.

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 44 departments in 109 disciplines. The academic degree holders ratio is 71.3%. The Faculty of General Medicine comprises 21 departments. The faculty employs 43 Doctors of Medical Sciences, 132 Candidates of Medical Sciences, ten Honored Doctors of the RF, two Honored Inventors, and eight Honored Workers of Public Health.

Learning outcomes. Every year students are awarded the Russian President Scholarships and the Russian Government Scholarships. The second place in the team classification in the regional stage (the Central Federal District) of the 12th Academician Perelman All-Russian (Moscow) Student Surgery Olympiad, the first place in the Trepanation contest in the All-Russian Neurosurgery Olympiad with international participation in Tyumen. The faculty student is the winner of the All-Russian Student Project “Your Turn” of 2023 and the regional ambassador of Rosmolodezh (the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs). Grants.

Facilities and resources. The university’s clinical facilities are the leading healthcare organizations in Voronezh and the region. State-of-the-art simulation technologies are used at the multidisciplinary accreditation and simulation center. There is a well-developed system of interactive communication in the university’s electronic educational environment (Moodle and Webinar platforms).

Research. Five projects of the faculty won the Student Startup contest. In 2023, the university conducted one study as part of grant financing offered by the Council for Grants of the President of the Russian Federation to support young Russian researchers and leading scientific schools. The project of the Department of Theoretical Therapy placed third in the Innovation Cup inter-university contest in 2023, and three departments won the University Science Relay.

Competitive advantages. The university has everything to provide fundamental and practical training of specialists, ensuring the university graduates’ competitiveness.

Career prospects and employment. More than 95% of graduates are employed by medical organizations in Voronezh and the Central Federal District. All students are registered on the Facultetus platform.
