Software Engineering

Awards and achievements. Since 2021, the program has been recognized as one of the most popular educational programs of NNGASU. Students of the program take an active part in contests, forums, and conferences. Every year they win prizes at the All-Russian Student Competition on the Information System 1C:ITS.

Teaching staff. The degree-granting department was established in 2013. At the beginning of the academic year 2023-2024, the department’s teaching staff consisted of 17 highly qualified teachers, including Professors, Doctors of Sciences and Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors.

Learning outcomes. Graduates of the program organize, manage and implement an approach to creating complex software products. The need for competent management of software development, operation and maintenance in the context of the digital economy determines employers’ high demand for highly qualified specialists in this field.

Research. Every year, students conduct research and publish their research findings in the proceedings of conferences and symposia at different levels. They take an active part in the All-Russian Science Festival Nauka 0+ as part of the workshop “Information Systems, Technologies and Programming” as well as in the International Research and Practice Conference “Environmental Safety and Sustainable Development of Urban Areas.”
