Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional-public accreditation (National Center for Public Accreditation).
Awards and achievements. In 2023, the program was recognized as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia. Bachelor’s students are prize-winners of the International contest of research, methodological and creative works “SOCIALIZATION, UPBRINGING, EDUCATION,” winners and laureates of all-Russian research and creative contests, and holders of the Russian President Scholarship.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 46 academic staff members, including seven Doctors of Sciences and 36 Candidates of Sciences. Among the teachers are Honored Workers of Higher Education, research fellows, consulting psychologists, mental health professionals, psychologists at various institutions in the city of Moscow and the Moscow Region.
Learning outcomes. Students acquiring the profession of psychologist not only gain professional knowledge and skills allowing them to provide psychological counseling for people around them but also master technologies that allow them to live in harmony with the world and themselves and develop their personal, professional and creative potential.
Facilities and resources. There are classrooms with multimedia equipment, computer classrooms with modern software, specialized classrooms, a psychological laboratory, and a sand simulation room.
Research. The university has a student scientific society and science clubs. Students conduct research in psychological laboratories using modern diagnostic tools, a polygraph, Eyetracker, and Cardiocode. The research findings are published in articles and discussed at conferences.
Competitive advantages. The program content is determined based on the analysis of requirements imposed on educational psychologists by the employers and Russian and foreign best practices adopted with the participation of leading experts in counseling.
Career prospects and employment. Graduates find a job at social, psychological counseling and rehabilitation centers, educational organizations, and children and family outreach centers as well as engage in private practice.
