Achievements. The program has been recognized many times as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 16 subdivisions and over 150 teachers, 80% of whom have academic degrees of Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. The degree-granting departments are the Department of Chemical Engineering of Pharmaceutical Substances and the Department of Industrial Pharmaceutical Technology.
Facilities and resources. The departments have state-of-the-art laboratory analytical and process equipment. There is a GMP training center which consists of a laboratory, clean manufacturing premises of sections of solids, sterile dosage forms, semisolids.
Education. Classes are conducted offline with active participation of industrial partners – representatives of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and related industries. Strategic partners. To provide practical training for students, the university maintains contacts with its strategic partners – pharmaceutical companies such as Biocad, Vertex, Geropharm, Novartis Neva, Pharmproject, Grotex, Medpolymer Firm, Samson-Med, Rosbio, Active Component, Pharmsynthez, Akrihin, R-Pharm, Veropharm, Biosynthez, Binnopharm Group. Research is conducted in the field of development of technologies and methods for analyzing and standardizing new and modified pharmaceutical substances and products: search for new medicines among modified polysaccharides, including innovation technologies in the development of herbal medicinal products, risk analysis in the quality management system.
Competitive advantages. This program is a unique program that trains pharmaceutical industry specialists. Graduates are in high demand in the job market.
Employers and employment. Among graduates are specialists of biotechnology and immunobiotechnology companies and enterprises at different levels, staff of analytical laboratories, quality assurance and control specialists at pharmaceutical enterprises, process designers at companies designing facilities that manufacture pharmaceutical substances and drug products.
