Achievements. The University of Management “TISBI” obtained a certificate of acknowledgement from the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan for active and fruitful cooperation for the benefit of tourism development in the Republic of Tatarstan, and was awarded the diplomas in the category “Promoting Tourism Market Development in the Republic of Tatarstan in the Field of Tourism Education,” the diploma from the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO for the contribution to cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Nations in education, science and culture.

Teaching staff. The teaching staff includes Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, Honored Workers of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation as well as leading practicing experts of the sector such as restaurant and hotel business owners, owners of travel companies and service businesses.

Education. Student gain profound knowledge of the main trends in the development of service and hospitality industry based on the use of digital technologies, modern internet services, IT solutions and applications, web analytics and online marketing skills to promote modern products. Starting from the first year of study, students undergo intensive practical training, including hands on classes, business games, workshops and master classes given by service professionals, are actively engaged in projects.

Research is actively conducted at the faculty under the supervision of highly qualified teachers. Students participate in specialized exhibitions, republican and international conferences, all-Russian contests and Olympiads, student science decades. Among students of this program are holders of the national scholarship for academic and research excellence.

Strategic partners. The department constantly cooperates with over 100 service and tourism organizations of Kazan and the republic. The University has established partnership relations with educational institutions, scientific and international organizations to support academic exchange programs, implement joint projects and give master classes, hold international conferences, forums, and seminars. International projects and programs. The department students take an active part in the projects and projects and programs held by the UNESCO International Chair on Training and Retraining of Specialists under Market Economy Conditions, the best volunteers of international events in the republic and city.

Employers and employment. While studying, students undertake internships at travel companies, sightseeing tour agencies, hotel industry, public catering and entertainment industry enterprises, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RT, regional ministries and agencies and as part of international student exchange programs, which promotes their subsequent employment. The program graduates are in demand in any sphere where such notions as “service” and “customer” are applicable. Students gain relevant knowledge of service management, various types of services, and of how to develop a spotless reputation for any company using service.
