Accreditation. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020.

Awards and achievements. The department teachers are among the organizers of the All-Russian student Olympiad “I am a Professional” and the regional stage of the National Professional Skills Championship for People with Disabilities “Abilympics”. Students are winners and prize-winners of the annual scholarship competition held by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, the Mashuk North-Caucasus Youth Forum grant holders. The department has implemented the projects: “Social Cohesion of the Society in the Context of the NorthCaucasus Region Problems” (2012-2014); the Russian-American project “Student Internship Exchange for the Benefit for Children at Risk” (2015-2016); the Russian-American project “Prophylaxis Bridges” (2017-2018), the Russian Government grant “Youth Leader” (2021).

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 14 teachers. More than 95% hold academic degrees of Candidates and Doctors of Sciences. Facilities and resources. To provide theoretical and practical training, the university has all the required facilities and resources, including the Center for Career Development and Youth Entrepreneurship, the Youth Design Center, NCFU Volunteer Center, and others.

Education. Students pursue extramural studies using distance technologies. The department delivers the continuing education program “State Youth Policy Specialist” (S. Mitrofanova and E. Smirnova are the program directors), develops the programs of advanced training courses on request of enterprises, institutions, and ministries. While organizing continuing education programs, the department partners’ requirements and preferences of themes and implementation conditions are taken into account.

Research. Monitoring of the youth policy implementation in the region.

Competitive advantages. The program creates the opportunities for training highly professional personnel sought after at different levels of the state youth policy implementation.

Employers and employment. The Directorate of Youth Policy of the Office of the Stavropol Territory Government, the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Stavropol Territory, the Committee for Culture and Youth Policy of Stavropol.
