Areas of Russia’s Domination in The World

Defense industry, aviation industry and shipbuilding. Russia has the world’s second largest (after the USA) military industrial sector. It holds top spot in many areas of production and technology.

Metro transport. Russia ranks fifth in the world by the total length of metro lines (after China, the USA, South Korea, and Japan). The Moscow Metro ranks fourth in the world by length, including Moscow Central Circle (after the Shanghai Subway, the Beijing Subway, and the London Tube, 2016).

Animated cartoons. Modern Russian cartoons are among the best and popular ones in the world. For example, the Masha and the Bear Russian cartoon was broadcast on the channels of almost 60 countries and is the most-watched cartoon on YouTube.

National language. The Russian language ranks fourth in the world by the degree of impact and the number of translations from it.
