Awards and achievements. In 2023, the program was recognized as one of the best educational programs of innovative Russia. The students got job offers following their participation in the Digital Professions project aimed at developing competencies for the digital economy as well as the implementation of the federal project “Personnel for the Digital Economy.”
In 2023, the institute’s student science clubs showcased their achievements at research conferences and forums such as the 4th All-Russian Research and Practice Conference “Finance and Corporate Management in the Changing World” at Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation; the Research and Practice Conference “Digital Transformation of the International Economic System” at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia; the 11th Research and Practice Conference “Sustainable Development in the Context of Global Turbulence” at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia; the International Scientific Congress “Globalistics-2023: Sustainable Development in the Context of Global Processes,” the workshop “Civilizational Aspects of Sustainable Development of the BRICS Countries” organized jointly by the Institute of Scientific Information for Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Global Processes of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Teaching staff. The programs are delivered by two departments that employ highly qualified teachers, including Professors, Doctors of Sciences and Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, and practicing teachers. The teaching staff of the institute participates in research. During 2023, two research projects were implemented.
Learning outcomes. Students learn how to: 1) effectively carry out professional activities to ensure investment efficiency and optimal conditions for clients’ financial transactions with financial services providers; 2) carry out competent and up-to-date accounting in finance, management and taxation at the enterprises in different sectors and of different forms of incorporation as well as to effectively make a financial and economic diagnosis of economic entities, using digital technologies, in particular.
Facilities and resources. Specialized classrooms and state-of-the-art educational and research laboratories.
Research. Each department has a student science club. Every year, around 30% of students conduct research and participate in publishing articles and speaking at conferences at different levels.
Competitive advantages. The institute trains multi-skilled specialists in economics, finance, banking, accounting, audit, taxation, and financial analysis.
Career prospects and employment. The institute graduates hold senior positions such as chief accountant, financial director, financial analyst, economic analyst, financial manager, tax consultant, tax inspector, and auditor.
