Accreditation. State accreditation. International accreditation (the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating IAAR).
Awards and achievements. Every year the program is recognized as the leader as part of the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia project. The program successfully underwent expert evaluation carried out by the Samara Regional Pharmaceutical Association. Students take an active part in regional, all-Russian, and international conferences and are laureates of the Russian President and Russian Government Awards.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 18 Doctors of Sciences, Professors or Associate Professors and 33 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors. The academic degree holders ratio is 89%.
Learning outcomes. Training of competitive specialists who have a wide range of professional competences and are sought after in the job market.
Facilities and resources. Specially equipped classrooms, computer classrooms, classrooms with multimedia projection systems, 20 specialized laboratories and rooms (including the training pharmacy), the Pharmacy Research and Education Center, special libraries, self-access centers, and many other facilities.
Research. The faculty boasts the leading academic pharmacy school. Research is related to the development of original natural and synthetic drugs and public drug supply improvement. The topic areas include computer-aided drug design, development of reference standards, phytobiotechnology, pharmacognostic study and standardization of medicinal plant raw materials, methodological support for quality control of drug products and forensic chemical examination, technological, pharmacological and business aspects of the drug development.
