Pharmacy

Accreditation. State accreditation (Certificate № 2943 of November 14, 2018). Professional-public accreditation (the Medical League, Certificate № 016/23 of January 23, 2023).

Awards and achievements. In 2023, the students became bronze medalists of the 22nd Youth Delphic Games “Epidemiology and Bioinformatics” and winners of the PharmOlymp 2023 Olympiad with international participation, and the Pharmaceutics 2023 contest.

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 20 departments. More than 75% of teachers hold academic degrees, and 20% of them hold the academic title of Professor. The teaching staff members take an active part in grant activities.

Learning outcomes. Students learn how to carry out effective pharmaceutical activities in the field of drug circulation.

Facilities and resources. Specialized classrooms. Modern practical facilities: the laboratory of drug quality control research, the training and industrial formulation pharmacy, and the training formulation pharmacy. The Internet center, a computer room in the research library with Internet access. Students are provided with study materials and access to the Student’s Consultant electronic library system and individual access to the SSMU electronic educational portal.

Research. The departments have student science clubs. Students conduct research as part of their graduation theses and research internship. The research findings are published in conference proceedings and scientific journals.

Competitive advantages. The faculty trains specialists for the region who have practical and scientific knowledge.

Career prospects and employment. Graduates work at pharmaceutical facilities and pharmaceutical companies, are heads of pharmacies, and work at drug regulatory authorities.
