Linguistics
Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional-public accreditation (the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Volgograd Region”).
Awards and achievements. The program has been listed among the best educational programs of the Russian Federation since 2015.
Teaching staff. More than 90% of the academic staff hold academic degrees and/or academic titles. The teachers of linguistic disciplines have international certificates confirming their language proficiency at Levels C1-C2.
Learning outcomes. The program graduates are ready to independently complete professional tasks in linguistics, translation, and cross-cultural communication with proficiency in two foreign languages according to employers’ requirements.
Facilities and resources. The university has all of the facilities, resources and laboratories necessary for efficient delivery of the educational program and students’ recreational activities. Students have access to federal educational resources.
Research. Teachers and students publish their research papers in journals recommended by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Russian Federation and WoS. There is a student research society. Graduates can continue their education by pursuing Master’s and PhD programs.
Competitive advantages. The staff members of translation agencies and industrial enterprises in the Moscow Region are engaged in the program delivery. The university cooperates with top Russian universities and universities in China, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan as well as the National Association of Teachers of English (NATE Russia).
Career prospects and employment. Graduates are employed by major enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow Region, governmental organizations and international companies as translators and interpreters, personal assistants, PR specialists, and managers in various fields.
