Awards and achievements. The All-Russian Student Olympiad “I am a Professional” in the Photonics, Instrument Engineering and Optical Technologies category. The All-Russian contest of graduation theses on the integrated group of majors and fields of study 12.00.00 Photonics, Instrument Engineering, Optical and Bioengineering Systems and Technologies. The letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region – 2020-2021. The Russian President grant for Master’s studies – 2020-2022.

Admission requirements for foreign citizens. International applicants apply on equal terms with Russian citizens.

Education. A practice-oriented approach to training, including active and interactive methods of teaching. SSUGT has the International Center for Education that provides pre-university training for foreign citizens and prepares foreign citizens for admission to PhD and doctoral studies. The Center teaches Russian as a foreign language with subsequent testing and issuance of standard certificates. To enroll in the educational program or at the Preparatory Department at the university, applicants must send their application specifying the preferred mode and duration of study, passport copy and the completed application form to the e-mail address of the International Center for Education (mo.center@ssga.ru).

Scholarships and grants. Students get government-public scholarships.
