Voronezh State University hosted the annual Miss Institute of International Education (IMO) event, a vibrant beauty and talent competition. The event was held as part of the sociocultural adaptation program international students, which is supported by the Voronezh State University Coordination Center.
This year, all the participants represented the pre-university department, making the event especially touching. Four vibrant young girls met on the stage, each bringing a piece of their homeland: Towela Nyirenda (Zambia), Altyn Khaidarova (Turkmenistan), Aishwarya Sri Rayala (India), and Ugochi Success Nwokolo (Nigeria).
The competition program was eventful and diverse. The participants prepared captivating presentations about their countries, taking the audience on a journey through various corners of the world—from hot Africa to picturesque Asia. The girls also took part in a fashion show in national costumes and showcased their athletic talents and creative abilities.
Following all the competitions, Altyn Khaidarova from Turkmenistan won the title of "Miss IMO 2026." Her charm, artistry, and profound expression of national culture captivated the jury and audience.
But most importantly, the evening was a celebration for everyone! The Miss IMO competition confirmed once again that beauty is multinational and talent has no boundaries.
