Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University

Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University is a major water transport university and the only university in the South of Russia that trains marine specialists for shipping companies, shipbuilding and ship repair yards, water transport enterprises, ports, and transport terminals.
Starting from 2013, the university is annually awarded the Leader of Industry title by the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport.
International cooperation

- The university enrolls students from former USSR countries and other foreign countries such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and other countries

Bachelor’s and Specialist’s programs
- June 20 – July 15 – applications dates for those applying based on the results of entrance exams
- June 20 – July 25 – applications dates for state-funded places based on the results of the Unified State Exams
- June 20 – August 20 – applications dates for fee-paying places based on the results of the Unified State Exams
