Third year students have work experience in the Institutes of SB RAS and enterprises; they write term papers and graduation thesis on the topics suggested by relevant enterprises and laboratories. Thus, they gain not only necessary knowledge and skills but also participate in the main research areas of the institutes’ activity.
Interaction with employers. The potential employers a wide range of opportunities for work experience and internships. Students have a possibility to get to know the organization’s activities before they decide on the place for work experience or internship.
Generally, graduates of this course are in demand in enterprises and companies in material development, operation and maintenance based on the use of lasers and optoelectronic equipment, laser systems and technologies. There is a high demand for young specialists in research institutes and enterprises of SB RAS as well as in experimental design offices and organizations of small and medium enterprises.
