Awards and achievements. The students develop software for modern operating systems, mobile applications, web applications, software for operating robotized complexes, create robotic complexes that are exhibited at the annual International IT Forum of BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Teaching staff. The teachers are Doctors and Candidates of Sciences with vast practical skills who implement state-of-the-art educational technologies in their work. Their activity is aimed at training highly qualified specialists for the city and region. Specialists of the base department of IC SIBINTEK, the main supplier of IT services for oil and gas branch companies in KhMAO-Yugra, are involved in teaching.
Research. Applied and fundamental research: computer and mathematical modeling of economic and social processes, research in AI sphere, developing intelligent information systems for education.
Education. Educational and methodological work is one of the main aspects of the teachers' professional activity. It is aimed at implementing new methods, innovative technologies and results of a scientific and methodological seminar in the educational process. Newest educational technologies are used which include business trainings, workshops with certificates provided, online courses of Open Education and HTML Academy platforms. At the robotics laboratory, students carry out development and research in the area of automated technical systems. The students are active in scientific research. Scientific work is carried out such as:
- Development of program modules for IS Smart Field;
- Development of program complexes for minor companies of the region;
- Participation in automation of training and university management.
The students have an opportunity to receive personal grants from the Rector for studying abroad as part of academic mobility international programs of the partner universities.
Strategic partners. Russian universities, Institute of Informatization of Russian Academy of Education, Academy of Informatization of Education, Liepaja University (Latvia) whose teachers hold lectures. IC SIBINTEK is a professional community-represented partner. The students are actively involved in practice at leading IT companies of Nizhnevartovsk and KhMAO-Yugra — IC SIBINTEK, a regional branch of NK Rosneft — Samotlorneftegaz Inc., NV-ASUproject, KOMTEK, SINTEZ.
