Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. NCFU implemented the project following the results of the contest of the RFBR and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of South Ossetia "Constitution and Legal Frameworks and Legal Regulation of Integration of Educational Spaces of Russia and South Ossetia in the Context of a Human Right to Education: History, Status and Prospects," RFBR grants "A Mechanism of Exercising a Child’s Right to Live and Grow Up in the Family," "Legal Awareness of Law School Students in the Context of Informatization of Russian Society." Students are winners of all-Russian contests: the scholarship program of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, the contest of student papers as part of the Profinternships 2.0 project, the My Lawmaking Initiative contest, etc.
Teaching staff. The Institute of Law employs 99 teachers, employers' representatives and foreign professors (Kazakhstan). The academic degree holders ratio is 84.8%.
Facilities and resources. There are specialized classrooms, computer classrooms, a training judgment hall, a forensic laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and software. Electronic educational resources have been developed and introduced into the learning process.
Research. There is a scientific school "Issues of Crime Prevention in light of Modern Criminal Law," eight research areas, 12 research and education centers and research laboratories, including three international ones.
Strategic partners. The Stavropol regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and leading regional employers (the Stavropol Territorial Court, the Head Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Stavropol Territory, the Chamber of Lawyers of the Stavropol Territory, the Notary Chamber of the Stavropol Territory, etc.)
Competitive advantages. NCFU provides fundamental training in Russian, foreign and international law. The teaching staff is highly qualified. The university cooperates with Russian and foreign universities and research centers, including Southern Federal University, Belarusian State University, Abkhazia State University, the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, University of Graz (Austria), and others.
Graduates are sought after by judicial and law-enforcement authorities (general jurisdiction courts, commercial courts, prosecutor’s offices, investigative agencies, international affairs bodies, etc.), public defender’s offices and notary offices, state and municipal authorities, commercial and non-commercial organizations as well as educational institutions.
