Accreditation. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020.

Awards and achievements. Participation in the implementation of the international EU grant Erasmus+ Program (the Jean Monnet Foundation), the project “European resource saving trends in Computer Science teacher training;” the Vladimir Potanin Foundation grant projects: “Training of Teaching Staff for Training Digital Advisors (Digital Competency Development Consultants),” “Resource-saving and Green Information Technologies in Education.” Participation in the grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Russian Foundation for Humanitarian Research, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, conferences, victories in scholarship programs, professional and research contests.

Teaching staff. Over 80% hold academic degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences. Professional disciplines are taught by the winners of contests such as Teacher of the Year and Pedagogical Debut. The university develops academic staff mobility. The researchers from Slovenia (University of Ljubljana) are engaged in the teaching process.

Facilities and resources. Training aids and topic-based presentations are used. The university has the School Classroom of Biology fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and study materials. The FMB classrooms allow the teachers to teach the disciplines related to biology and chemistry effectively and to a good quality.

Education. State-of-the-art teaching methods and strategies, an individual approach to students; development of students’ competencies through project activities, a combination of offline learning with the independent study on the NCFU’s distance platform, a combination of theoretical instruction with practical activities and internships at educational organizations.

Research. ICT in education and research, simulation of pedagogical systems and processes at continuing professional education institutions. 

Competitive advantages. Students have the opportunities to obtain a qualification in education, IT and the English language sought-after by educational institutions of any level both in Russia and worldwide. Graduates can build a teaching career or try their hand at applied areas as software engineers, web designers, system administrators, linguists, translators. NCFU develops the continuing pedagogical education system, delivers continuing professional education programs.
