Accreditation. State accreditation.

Awards and achievements. The program has been ranked among the best educational programs of innovative Russia since 2019. Students are participants and nominees of the annual All-Russian Olympiad “I am a Professional.”

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 13 teachers. More than 12% of them hold an academic degree of Doctor of Sciences. The leading social service specialists in Yekaterinburg are engaged in the teaching process.

Learning outcomes. Intensification of the use of distance learning methods (the learning platform Microsoft Teams and the virtual learning environment Moodle). Practice-oriented training and project-based learning, participation in Olympiads, contests and conferences. Gaming, project and research methods of teaching and collaborative learning models (team and group work).

Facilities and resources. Computer classrooms with modern software and multimedia equipment. The classrooms are located, in particular, at rehabilitation centers in the Sverdlovsk Region.

Research. The university implements the regional medical and social project on early diagnosis and prevention of visible malignancies in elderly people staying at social service institutions in the Sverdlovsk Region (the agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Ministry of Social Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Sverdlovsk Regional Oncological Dispensary).

Competitive advantages. A unique combination of a wide range of medical knowledge and social care skills allows graduates to become sought-after specialists in the job market. Graduates can continue education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health.

Career prospects and employment. 99% of graduates are employed. Many years’ cooperation with the healthcare and social care institutions in the Sverdlovsk Region creates the opportunities for students to find a job in their degree field.
