Accreditation. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. In 2017, the program underwent professional-public accreditation (the National Centre for Public Accreditation).
Achievements. The educational programs are listed on the European Register of Accredited Programs. The department is the winner of The Best Department of NCFU contest in the category of Effective Management of the System of Interaction with Employers. The educational program is a laureate of the sectoral study “The Ranking of Russian Universities’ Departments that Train Specialists in the Field of Advertising” held by the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR). The program teachers are the winners of the all-Russian contest “Golden Names of Higher Education.” The program students have the highest scores in the Federal Internet Exam for Bachelor’s Graduates of Russia; winners of the all-Russian contest “The Best Graduation Thesis on Advertising and Public Relations” (ACAR); prize-winners of the all-Russian contest “I am a Professional”; winners of the National Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia); holders of the cup of the all-Russian contest “Student TEFI,” and winners of many other contests.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by 19 teachers, including one Doctor of Sciences and nine Candidates of Sciences. The researchers from Russia, Bulgaria, and France are engaged in the teaching process.
Facilities and resources. NCFU has facilities and resources for all classes provided for by the educational standard. The resources of the mass media center and the training studio of advertising photography allow students to master state-of-the-art media technologies and acquire high-technology equipment skills. Research. State-of-the-art media technologies; territory branding technologies; marketing linguistics, and promoting text.
Competitive advantages. Project-based educational programs, international professional-public accreditation, state-of-the-art facilities and resources for developing modern communication products, close cooperation with regional leaders in advertising and PR communications management, high employment rate.
Employers and employment. The program partners are Institute Europeen des Relations publiques (France), Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria), the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia, the Association of Advertising and Public Relations Teachers, the Russian Association of Political Consultants, the Russian Association of Public Relations. The media industry practitioners are engaged in delivering the programs. The program students and graduates work for various regional and federal media entities, press services and advertising agencies.
